Thomson Peak Slope-67 viewsThomson Peak from my house. Topographically the best local slope and only 3 miles from my back door as the crow flys but 10 actual driving miles. But the wind never works there. The other side is similarly NON-recoverable but does face the wind occasionally. It's a good slope with near-coastal lift! It's fun to fly especially when you buzz the lookout tower. The tower guy is tough to impress though. You just don't want to loose it down wind. Landing area is poor, duh, even to a hardcore sloper.
